Okay, so I finished watching the premiere with my mom and here's what I've got to say:

-I love the connections to the original series. I don't think I need to go into too much detail about that.

-I especially loved the Zuko's mom bit. Lol trolls. I almost spoiled this when the episode was leaked because I thought this was so brilliant.

-I really like Korra's personality. I like how she is not the 'man who has to be more feminine' stereotype. Which is largely the main difference between her and Katniss. But that's for another thread ;)

-I think I'm really going to like Tenzin and Korra's relationship. I especially liked his quote 'Don't bring my mother into this!' lolz

-LOVED the 1920s bits to it obviously. though im a bit disappointed there isn't any film in the show. Maybe there will be some sort of discovery of it later on because I think that would be kind of cool. Like, instead of the first film being about a train arriving, the first film could be a bender bending at the camera.

-I don't think Mako is emo and that's why I like him and why I support the pairing (though I thought it was a tad bit cheesy and obvious that this was the main pairing). I think Mako is like the Tiana of this where he's just a hard worker and kind of grew up too fast so he has no idea how to have fun. Which, is entirely different than an emo boy. At least, I think so.

-I love Meelo. God, that kid is awesome. And, I surprisingly really like Pema. She has a lot of personality that I wasn't expecting.

That's all I've got to say...for now.

You're a bad teacher daddy, rawr! Meelo reminds me of my nephew, who is his age, maybe younger, but acts just like him.

And knocking it over by accident, with a surprised look on his or her face? I also really liked the bum, who ate fish with Korra. I knew right away that she would get busted for fishing in the pond. I didn't see any spoilers, it was just obvious.

I don't know why I liked the bum, I think it was the way he talked and his dialogue.

I'm actually liking every character, I'm just hoping for some more scenes with Amon soon, cause he looks like he could be a very potential badass.

^ It's a reference to the first film ever made. Where, people would see it and run or jump back because they thought the person was bending at them.

Right I know what you were implying, but it would be funny if the camera was knocked over as well.

Well I taped the two episodes today. I was at work, but it worked! Now I have a hard copy I can take anywhere.

Also I just had to watch Meelo's quirks again, he's just too funny of a character.

I didn't tape it but I've still got the iTunes files. I only got to watch bits and pieces of it.

I'll record it on tape, so if I find a way to upload it online, I'll do that for you.

VHS? yeah I can do that too. I'd like to get a digital copy of it somehow though. I don't have the proper equipment to transfer VHS to digital. It's really hard to find because it's so obsolete.

Well not all of us are loaded with money. I was going to upload it online, how else would I get it to you? Through FedEx?

That's what I was saying though. If you're recording on a VHS, it's hard to upload it online. Because you have to convert the tape and import it into the computer. Which, is hard to do because it's hard to find the equipment for it.

Unless you have a DVD recorder....like I said, I don't got one of those :p

Unfortunately I need tiny tapes and I don't think I have any of those.
