Re: One Piece; The Great Pirate Era
"They're running away from you," Blood said. "You wouldn't want a sea serpent approaching us now anyway."
Blood then shut his eyes, attempting to doze off once again. But he had a feeling Flint was going to keep talking. Still, it didn't hurt to try.

Re: One Piece; The Great Pirate Era
After Blood's remarks, Flint frowned, but mostly kept to himself now. Instead he leaned over the ledge of the washtub, peering into the crystal blue waters. There in the water he saw the most coolest and jiggliest thing or animal he had ever seen. Shocked at it's majestic, he moaned slightly in amazement.
As Blood kept his eyes closed and laid on the other side, Flint ran quickly towards him, after dipping his hand into the waters. "Woah, hey drunk guy, check this out!" He exclaimed, running to his side, but tripped and lost his balance. In doing so he lost the blob that was in his hand, which smacked directly into Blood's face.
It was in fact, a West Blue Blue Spotted Jellyfish, which emitted a loud wet smack as it flopped onto the unsuspecting drunk's forehead.

Just as Blood was about to open his eyes and see what exactly Flint wanted, he felt something suddenly hit his face. It didn't take long before he suddenly felt a stinging sensation on his forehead. Quickly, Blood jumped up with a shout, grabbing whatever was on his face and threw it on the ground.
"What the hell is wrong with you?" Blood asked as he looked at the jellyfish. "You can't just pick creatures out of the water. That's a West Blue Spotted Jellyfish!"
As the jellyfish lay in the boat, Blood grabbed his forehead which was now stinging like crazy.

Laughing at Blood's expense, Flint held his stomach, before looking back at the wet jellyfish on the washtub's bottom.
"Oh neat!" he exclaimed, before poking the top of the jellyfish jiggly surface. It was very squishy and regained shape after he removed his finger. "So how do you eat them?"

"Well...it's been a while...but I think you're supposed to soak it overnight or rinse it." However, despite Blood's advice, he sounded a bit uncertain.

"That long?" Flint said disappointed, before picking up the floppy jellyfish. With his quick hunger fix completely ruined, he tossed it to his side and out of the washtub, directly in Blood's path. If he wasn't suspecting or watching, he would surely be hit with the same beast twice.

Re: One Piece; The Great Pirate Era
Blood immediately got out of the way of the jellyfish, rocking the washtub in the process.
"Hey! Watch where you throw that thing!" Blood said angrily.
As the two continued to float in the water, an object began to appear in the far distance. It looked to be big whatever it was. When it came closer, it became more and more apparent that it was a ship. It was a rather large ship and there was no flag of any sort on it.

Re: One Piece; The Great Pirate Era
With his tasty looking and spongy feeling toy thrown out into the sea, no longer in his grasp, Flint frowned. What was there to do now? Slowly he looked over to his side, until he noticed a peculiar hazy blot in the horizon. He couldn't tell what it was, but it surely wasn't more ocean.
He squinted his eyes, leaning closer over the ledge, as he brought a hand to his forehead to block out the sun. "Hey what's that?" He asked curiously, but instead of pondering on it, he grabbed one of the oars soon after and rowed towards it. It wasn't long until they were closer enough to make it out more visually.
It was a boat, a large ship to be exact. It was someone's boat, but whose? There were not flags or sails on it either, nor did there seem to be anyone on its outside. "Oh...a ship." Flint simply said.

Blood was surprised about Flint's sudden enthusiasm as he paddled towards the object in the distance. He tried to ignore it and just let Flint be fascinated by whatever it was. However, he couldn't help but to glance every once in a while as the object came closer.
Once he knew what it was and it was identified as a ship, he became disinterested again.
"Better ignore it," Blood advised as he looked at the ship and saw that no one was on board.
The ship was coming closer and it was clear there were multiple rope ladders for anyone who wanted to come aboard. It appeared as though the ship was completely abandoned.

"Why should I?" Flint asked, yet not in a reprimanding tone. He said so with such energy and eagerness, as he continued to paddle towards it. "You said it yourself, you hate this washtub."
Once the washtub boat reached the ship, it gently bumped into its side, before Flint noticed one of the many ropes. Not really taking anything into consideration, he reached in for the rope, before pulling himself completely out of the washtub.
Without hesitation he climbed all the way up, before leaping onto the boat. Strangely enough, it was empty. He didn't seem to mind though, because this was such an amazing boat. "Anyone here!?" He exclaimed as loud as he could, but did not receive a reply.
Instead he jumped up and down afterwards, before letting out a small laugh. "It's pretty sturdy to!"

Re: One Piece; The Great Pirate Era
"Yeah but I didn't mean to just go on an abandon ship!" Blood said.
However, it was quite clear Flint would not be listening to Blood as he started to climb up the ship.
"Well fine, go and get yourself killed," Blood said though this was mostly to himself. However, it didn't take long for Blood to start following Flint up the rope, grumbling to himself along the way.
While Flint was busy shouting and making as much noise as humanly possible, Blood was looking around for any signs of danger.
Unfortunately for Blood, it was a bit too late for that because suddenly the ship seemed to come alive. People came from all different areas of the ship. Colorful sails suddenly fell down as laughter and confetti filled the air. It was as though a surprise party had just been discovered. However, it clearly wasn't a party as everyone was assimilated with various weapons. Before Blood or Flint had time to do anything, ropes and chains were completely tied around them.
"Well, well, well. What have we here?" a flamboyant man said tauntingly as he stepped forward with his overly large purple jester shoes. He wore a large purple hat that appeared to match his shoes with a yellow feather on top. The rest of his outfit was composed of different shades of purple but what stood out most was the various knives and weaponry around his waist. And on his left ear was a large golden earring. The rest of the crew (composed of both men and women) wore similar flamboyantly colored outfits.
"Trespassers!" another man yelled who wore a fake eye patch over his good right eye.
"Spies!" yet another offered.
Although Flint and Blood had no way of knowing why they were there, it was clear to anyone who knew about gypsies that this ship was full of them.

Re: One Piece; The Great Pirate Era
At first Flint was completely confused at the sudden flags and sails that emerged. Especially since they were the oddest choice of colors to think of, but he really enjoyed the bursting confetti. Moaning slightly in amazement, he took a gander as all the tiny pieces fluttered and spread everywhere, before gently floating to the ship's floor.
"Huh? What?" He said, seeing all these extravagant people in even more so clothing. However once he was chained and roped, his expression became slightly more irritated. "Hey!" He exclaimed, "What's the big idea!?"
However once the leader or captain, or whoever showed themselves, he frowned, before throwing out an energetic groan. "Ugh, what's with the fruity costumes?"

Re: One Piece; The Great Pirate Era
Blood rolled his eyes at Flint's comment.
"What the hell is wrong with you?" Blood asked. "We're being accused of being spies and all you can do is worry about their outfits!"
"Don't patronize us," the captain interrupted. "You're very clever to have found our hideout. But unfortunately for you, you won't live to tell the tale." And here, he suddenly took out his array of knives. His companions followed his action by also drawing swords, knives, and anything else that was lethal.

Choosing to ignore Blood's comment, Flint then listened to what the captain had to say, all of it. However once they all started to draw their daggers and weapons, he scanned the area, and everyone there. "Those colors are hurting my eyes, there wasn't much finding to be found." He replied, before laughing.
"You sure are stupid, if you wanted to hide you should've looked for a better hideout and clothes."

Re: One Piece; The Great Pirate Era
The group of gypsies looked at one another unsure if they should be insulted or not. One way or another, they looked as though they were ready to kill Flint on the spot.
If Blood could have, he would have slapped himself in the head. Oh my god, Flint was just asking them to get killed.
"Look, do we look like spies to you?" Blood asked. He then shot a Flint a glare, one that said 'you better back me up on this and stop insulting them.'
"Don't try and play that game," the captain replied coyly, clearly not buying Blood's statement. He then tapped Blood's chest with the tip of his knife. "We've had fake beggars, shipwrecked passengers, pirates, damsels in distress, and anything else you can imagine thrown at us. Although, you're injured arm is a nice touch. Along with your red forehead."
