Curiously a younger child ran towards the windows of the tavern, where the ruckus and sounds of the fight were most prominent. Nervously their mother reached out for them, but they were not quick enough. "Sammy, don't go over there!" They exclaimed concerned and worried for their child's safety.

Sammy was already at the window, pulling themselves up to their tiptoes on the ledge, to see what was going on. "Wow look at that! He's beating them up!" They exclaimed, to which another patron, an adult this time, walked over to the window curiously.

"Hey...hey! He's right!" The man exclaimed, no longer hiding in the corner where his table was. "He's really giving them what for!" He shouted, thrusting his fist upwards, as several pirates attempted to attack Flint, but were quickly beaten down with just his fists.

Outside, the big large and brick wall known as Big John finally made it to the fight. Each quick step he took, shook the wooden dock they were on. "Dog pile!" They exclaimed in a unintellectual slur. The pirates quickly understood, as Flint was beating back the few remaining ones near him.

Suddenly they all jumped on him from all sides, grabbing his arms, legs, back, and everything to keep him down. "Hey! What's the big idea!" Flint exclaimed irritatingly, before noticing the massive blob charging right towards him. It was almost as if an earth quake took on a physical shape.

Leaping as far as they could into the air, Big John then spread out his arms and legs, ready to belly flop and crush Flint in one fell swoop. A large and dark shadow cast over him and the pirates locking him in position, he simply stared above, for what seemed an impending doom.

With a thunderous echo, Big John plummeted back to the earth, shaking the entire street, and throwing up dust and splintered wood. Once it settled, and he was lying flat out on the ground, everyone was accounted for, except for Flint. Happily, the pirates grinned, chiming in with their long awaited insults.

"No!" Sammy exclaimed, placing their hands up against the window. "He was so close..." He added, his hands slipping across the window. "Now who's going to save my little sister..."

"Yeah I figured as much," The man moaned depressingly, "I should've never gotten my hopes so high."

Outside the large giant still laid on the deck, until he slowly pushed his weight upwards, with several grunts. Expecting to see a large crater and crushed Flint underneath his gut, he and the other pirates were shocked to see he was not there.

Instead there underneath his large gut was a Rum Drum pirate, battered and bruised. Quickly lifting him up with several shakes, the pirate just moaned in agony, as his head flopped around. "Oh Big John is that you?" They moaned weakly. "It's so cold...so very cold. I can see the light, it's calling me home..."

"Snap out of it!" One of the pirates exclaimed, as they all looked in shock and worrisome. "Hey ganging up on me like that is lame!" Flint said, revealing himself to be right next to all of them.

"I'll get you!" Big John growled angrily, as he tossed his pirate comrade aside. Quickly he charged towards the kid, as Flint readied himself and punched the giant blob straight into the gut. However they didn't flinch at all and simply laughed, as their massive fat absorbed the blow.

"Huh!?" Flint exclaimed, expecting something at least. Without rest he then threw several other punches at the same spot, which it did little, as Big John simply stood still, toying with him. Not giving up, Flint then ran to his side, kicking and punching his waist, then back, and even head, but still nothing.

"What gives!? Why are you so jiggly!?" Flint growled as Big John just laughed slowly, holding his gut. Smiling from a distance, Rum Drum Johnny stared at the predicate fight and outcome. That's right, he's our toughest and fiercest member. If it wasn't for his dumbness, he might've been a captain.

Good luck scrapping this one off of your roofs. He thought, staring at all the eager villagers watching and hoping...hoping for a chance.

As the rest of the people in the tavern rushed towards the window, Blood didn't move. He was still drinking, still looking towards the bar. But although he didn't seem to care, his ears pricked at the descriptions of Flint fighting the pirates, appearing to actually stand a chance.

His eyes were starting to get a bit glazed from all the drinking he had done. He couldn't deny it, he sank a little at the mention of Flint being squished.

"Damn fool," he thought to himself.

"Hey, look, he's okay!" Sammy exclaimed as the child pointed towards where Flint was now standing. Everyone desperately followed where Sammy was pointing to and, sure enough, Flint was there.

"How about that," one of the waiters commented. There were a few gasps of excitement and Blood couldn't help but to turn around and look out towards the window.

As Big John's large arm flew upwards, he then swung it down at Flint, who rolled out of the way in time. A nearby pirate, hoping to gain the upper-hand, by attacking with his sword behind his back, was suddenly struck with Big John's fist meant for Flint.

Quickly he slammed straight into the wooden board walk, before plunging straight into the cold waters underneath. Getting behind Big John, because he was cumbersome, slow, and a little clueless, Flint knew there had to be some weakness of his.

"That's it!" He thought, before immediately jumping on top of his back, and latching onto his underwear. One with forceful tug, he then pulled with all his might, giving Big John the most painful wedgie he had ever endured. Groaning from the pain, Rum Drum Johnny frowned annoyingly at this mockery.

However Big John was not out of the count at the least. Using his large weight, he ran backwards, crashing straight into a building's wall. It exploded within contact, creating a large dusty opening. Shaking his head from the painful impact, Flint still remained on Big John's back, before releasing his grip, and rolling underneath his legs.

However Big John dropped straight down, causing Flint to be smashed mid-roll and on his back. Laughing at his expense, this large man then rubbed his rear-end in Flint's face as he was trapped, before also crushing him more with his heavy buttocks.

"Augh! Oh god, it stinks! I'm gonna hurl!" Flint exclaimed, as he tried his best to endure the pain and stench his opponent was inflicting onto him. With nothing else to turn to, Flint reached for his pocket, before arming himself with his makeshift tubular contraption.

Aligning and aiming it well, he then struck the mechanism, which sparked and shot forth a projectile. Leaping upwards from the pain, Big John then hopped around the pier, as he held onto his rear-end. With his enemy occupied, Flint then leapt upwards, striking Big John with a fist on top of his head.

Feeling the pain this time, with little blob on his forehead, Big John staggered forward, before toppling over due to rope which was tied to his legs unbeknownst to him. With a thunderous echo, shaking the entire pier, he was done against his will this time.

Frowning at the success of this boy and the mockery and embarrassment he was inflicting onto his band of pirates, Rum Drum Johnny growled. "Not another step boy, if you value these children's lives." He said, holding the captured village children hostage at gun point.

Slowly rising from where he was, Flint stared expressionlessly, but disappointed at Rum Drum Johnny. "Good, now grab him Big John." He said grinning wickedly, the children whining in terror, as Big John rose to his feet again, and locked Flint tightly into his massive bear arms.

While Big John had Flint locked in a tight grip with Rum Drum watching over, suddenly something came flying by. It knocked Rum Drum's gun out of his hand, slicing through it. As it clattered to the ground, it became clear that it was the end of the shovel Flint had been using previously.

Blood stood not to far from Big John, the broken shovel in his hand. He didn't say anything but he looked directly in Rum Drum's eyes.

Tightly holding Flint in his grip, as instructed by his captain Rum Drum Johnny, Big John laughed slowly and unintellectually.

"That's right runt, now you see it is I who has the upper-hand. This is our town and no one is going to stop us, and surely not a little turd like you!" Rum Drum explained, twisting his gun on the forehead of some child's, as they trembled in teary eyed fear. "Mommy," Is what they whimpered, with a snotty and tear river running face.

With no way to fight back now, without putting the children in serious danger, Flint stayed still, as Big John squeezed him tightly, cutting off his breath, as the other lowly pirates took their turns punching and kicking him, causing a whole mess of dusty debris to flow up.

Suddenly something knocked Rum Drum Johnny's pistol out of his hand, as this metallic blur whistled and twirled through the air. Both pieces banged onto the wooden pier, sliding to a halt to reveal an unarmed pistol and the bottom end of the shovel.

"What!?" Is all Rum Drum Johnny exclaimed, rubbing his sore, but not severely harmed hand. Slowly he looked to the side to see the drunk from before. With a frown, he stared sharply at him, not too pleased at his intervention.

"What do you think you're doing?" They asked, before the rest of his pirates slowly stopped pounding on Flint to see what the new commotion was about. "Didn't you hear what we told you last time? You going to drink us to death?"

Spotting the broken shovel far away from Rum Drum Johnny, Flint remained locked in Big John's arms, but leaned inwards, with a gasped moan of annoyance. "Augh! Now how am I supposed to dig out the post!?"

"Just thought I'd make the fight a bit more fair," Blood replied. However, he didn't say anything to the later remarks.

When he heard Flint, Blood looked and noticed the sign lying on the ground. He then looked at Flint in annoyance. "Forget about the stupid sign! I'm giving you this chance, so don't blow it."

Blood then turned the shovel around so he was holding the broken end. He then took a powerful swing at Big John's head, causing the shovel to completely shatter.

Not replying to Blood's comment, but simply frowning, Flint then gasped in pain, as his cheeks puffed out. Big John was squeezing the life out of him, as his face turned blue. However not even the blow to the head shook this behemoth in the slightest.

He simply laughed stupidly, as the shovel's metal bent to the shape of his head. "I guess you missed our little introduction about my first mate Big John." Rum Drum Johnny said. "That little whipper snapper has more fight then you'll ever have and he couldn't even beat one of his chest hairs!"

Laughing at their state, some of the pirates crossed their arms, while throwing in their added insults. "Let's get this over with already, I'm losing my buzz!"

"Good idea." Rum Drum Johnny said, "But how I do enjoy toying with this sad sack of garbage." He explained, meaning Blood. Quickly he brought one of the children to his chest, readying a dagger this time, and placing it up against their neck. One more hair closer would come close to breaking and slicing the skin straight off.

Raising their head up as far as it could go, the child did his best not to be cut by the deadly and sharp blade. "This fight is long over, and there isn't anything a run down, pathetic excuse of a pirate like you can do. You're hopeless and you're even more of an embarrassment as the village idiot!" Rum Drum Johnny exclaimed laughing happily. "I thought it'd be impossible, but damn if you don't make it possible!"

Blood was a bit surprised that his blow to Big John's head did absolutely nothing. He knew his body was tough but he figured his head would be a vulnerable spot. He turned to face Rum Drum again with whatever was left of the shovel still in his hand though it was in very poor shape by this point.

"You're the embarrassment," Blood said. "You can't even take a village idiot head on. You have to hide behind a child. Now that's pathetic."

With Blood's words striking a chord in Rum Drum Johnny's body, he growled angrily, before throwing the kid aside. The child tumbled through the rough and splintery dock, before whimpering as he laid on all fours.

"Don't let them go!" He exclaimed, as some of his pirates grabbed the kids from escaping. With his assets secured, he grinned wickedly at Blood. "If this is anything like last time, we'll cast you aside again." He explained, before flexing his one arm.

"Show me what you have you worthless scum!" Rum Drum shouted, lunging forward, and in front of Blood. He then slammed his large muscular fist into the pier where Blood was, as it exploded into a splintery mess of wood and debris.

Seeing Rum Drum lunge forward, Blood jumped out of the way. His moves were a little sloppy as he did this but he kept his ground. As Rum Drum's fist was in the pier, Blood went to kick him in the back of the neck.

With his hand sunken into the wooden pier, and as Blood dodged his attack, Rum Drum jerked and wiggled, to free his hand. As he did so, Blood used this opportunity to strike him in the back. However he only had one hand that was trapped, his right arm was still free.

Lifting his arm up quickly, he grabbed Blood's leg, mid-swing, before squeezing it tightly to stop the kick. He laughed at Blood's predicament, before whipping and throwing his body straight into a pile of crates. Once he was out of the way, he then ripped his arm out of the pier, breaking it even further, before turning to stare directly at Blood, where he had thrown him.

"The only sad thing about killing you, is that I won't have a reason to laugh when I come here for our pay!" Rum Drum exclaimed, not bothering to attack him, simply because he felt he was not worth it. But at the same time he couldn't help but to want to pummel this sad piece of trash, to pass some time, and have fun.

Blood's eyes widened as he saw Rum Drum grab his leg.

"****!" he thought as he went flying into the crates. With a crash, he felt his body aching all over already. He struggled to get up and when he eventually made it to his feet, he was already regretting the decision he had made. Blood then took one of the crates and, with all his might, heaved it towards Rum Drum. He then ran forward and went to take another punch just as Rum Drum was avoiding the crate.

Noticing that Blood was still not giving in, Rum Drum frowned, before noticing a crate heading his way. As it flew through the air, his immediate reaction was to catch it, so that he could show all his amazing strength. Bowing slightly as it slammed into his palms, he maintained his ground, holding onto the crate, before Blood hit him directly in the chest.

Grunting from the blow, he dropped the box, before coughing severely for fresh air. "Lousy cheap shot..." Is all he muttered, still coughing, before looking angrily at Blood. "So what is this? You're still sore about what you brought upon yourself and now you're beating up on us to fill in that void of worthlessness?" He asked, using the word 'Us' to indicate people that Blood would remember.

"No, you just took the last of the rum," Blood replied although Rum Drum's comment stung a bit. "So how about you be a dear and give it back?"

He knew Rum Drum would probably attack after his last comment and Blood was preparing to defend himself.
